Since Erlman J. Wright submitted his patent for the first modern steel wire paper clip in 1877, mankind has reveled in the paper clip's universality and extreme ease of use. This paper clip does an adequate job holding my papers together, and honestly is virtually indistinguishable from the traditional Wright paper clip. The torsion and elasticity of each paper clip is consistent throughout the box, suggesting that they were built to demanding and exacting engineering processes with some of the tightest tolerances found in manufactured steel products. When I think of a product for which I hold strong positive feelings, long after my purchase, I think of the Universal 72210 smooth finish #1 paper clip. These paper clips are excellent for office supplies, crafts, or even as holiday gifts. I am thoroughly satisfied with my purchase of these paper clips and simply cannot imagine that any other paper clip on the market could ever rival the overall value that these provide.
